The people and models behind PixelMagic

Who builds it

PixelMagic is designed, built and run by Rajkumar, an independent developer based in Chennai, India. Rajkumar writes the product, runs the infrastructure and writes the guides in the Knowledge hub, and reads the messages that come in through the contact page.

How the tools work

• Background removal runs on the open-source Lucida model on our own GPU servers. It predicts true per-pixel transparency instead of a hard mask, which is why hair, glass and soft shadows survive the cutout.
• Generation, editing and upscaling use a mix of self-hosted open models (such as FLUX Schnell for the free monthly generations, and Real-ESRGAN for upscaling) and leading commercial models. Every model shows its credit cost before you run it. The model directory lists what is available.
• Automation — bulk processing, workflows, a REST API and an MCP server — uses the same models and the same credits as the website. See API & developers.

How your images are handled

Images are used only to run the tool you chose — on our own servers or at the model provider that runs that model — and to keep the service secure. Original uploads are deleted automatically 30 days after processing; your results stay in your library until you delete them. The full details are in the privacy policy and terms.

How we write about AI models

Every guide names its author and shows when it was published and last updated, and the model directory and model news update automatically every day. If something is out of date or wrong, tell us and it will be corrected.
